To strengthen the cultural heritage of American Indian children residing in the metro area by promoting and supporting early childhood services that fosters skills for school and life success.


The Metro Work Group has been in existence since February 2006.

Friday, April 13, 2012, the Metro Work Group participated in the American Indian Family Center Pow Wow and Early Learning Fair at 1540 East Sixth Street Saint Paul, MN. from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  The target audience was Native American families and children, 15 agencies participated.   Click here to see the Fair notes.


Thursday, March 31, 2011, the Metro Work Group hosted an American Indian Early Childhood Fair at 1308 East Franklin Minneapolis, MN.  The target audience was Native American families., 20 agencies participated.
